FOOTPRINTS TO TOGOP DARAT

Lotsa couples are getting married during this school holidays and those who are invited feel so happy because of the joyful ceremony plus free buffets and 'drinks' ;p (including me) My cousin was getting married few days ago with a beautiful lady from Ranau. Ranau is just next to my hometown and as far as i can verify; most of friend and relatives are married to some lucky people from this particular hometown. The journey to Church of St. Peter Claver is just kilometers away and with the unpredictable speed of the boss of my parents' house while driving his 4x4, we were able to get there on time. Seem like it isn't taking more than an hour to be there! The church is quite beautiful and i believe it is a new church since i saw another old building next to it. I saw three husbands & wives-to be stood in front of the church and were ready to walk along the aisle toward the altar. How i wish to wear the beautiful gown with my future husband;p Okay..so they said that after the holy matrimony, we'll be heading to the bride's house which is located at Togop Darat. Yes..i hadn't heard the name before but it sounds cool right? So the adventure began at Bongkud, a place which is opposite of the road to Hot Spring if i'm not mistaken. We passed few villages along the way..as far as i can remember they were Kinasaraban.. Perancangan.. Pinawantai..more that i can't remember.. Right after Perancangan, it isn't an asphalt road anymore. Seemed like more than an hour, i had to be patient with the cramped muscle i felt due to the imbalance vibrates caused by the graveled road. At that time i was praying hard so that we will reach there sooner! Not just the graveled road, the convoy team were also had to face with the thick dust caused by the vehicles used! Deep inside i tried to imagine how big the love that my cousin has to his now-wife. He came through a long journey to get his bride and i wonder how their love blooms and sacrifice its fuel and energy:) Okay.. True Love across the universe! It was getting hot and hotter so we stopped at few locations..it was kinda hard to see the view outside of the car since it was super dusty all over when it being driven on the road so i took the chance to see the panorama by jumped out of the car every time the hand-break was pulled-up. Yes..it was hotter but it felt really nice to see the view! After a long imbalance road we were reaching Togop Laut and i was like "Ooo please lord..i can't wait to see Togop Darat" well dude & babe, there are no beach or ocean at Togop Laut..almost there..almost there..fuhhh there was a signboard to Togop Darat at the end of a road..so..another bridge with wide river underneath to cross by..and woahh it felt like we were going into a gothic village the moment we saw a buffalo skull with its horns hanged on a pillar at the center of the river. My dad said that it is meant to be a warning for those who ever think about catching a fish from the 'tagal' river. Oh at last~ we were at Togop Darat..beautiful village i would say (^_^) Congratulations to both bride and groom!
I was walking toward the Grotto outside of Chruch of St. Peter Claver, Ranau.

Losing Extra Carb

It has been the third time i went to hill-hiking with some friends throughout this year and i feel...yes, tired but awesome! I never really interested with going up to any higher spot or location in my entire life but heaven yeah..i did conquer Mount. Kinabalu during my teenage era.. As for now i don't consider my age as teenage anymore but the fun of climbing has never fade away..lol. We usually went hiking or hill jog in the evening for some twilight moment as in a movie where lovers fall in love watching the view (well heyy we never really went there with special partners) and goaadd...we're always capturing the image of ourselves up there by not counting the same angle or place like yesterday's pictures~ talking bout being obsessed with our own faces..jk! I cant see where this story goes without jumping to the main point of today's activity (o.O)
*************
Sally texted me for almost twice regarding the activity that supposed to be TODAY. I am so sorry babe, blame my phone for not producing sound or vibrate since last night;p I know i am too lazy to be there before 6...am...hell yeahhhhh BEFORE 6 AM! for what again? FOR HILL JOG! plus my un-exercised fat and muscles, i don't know if it would be a good idea to hill jog at such hour (~.~)/ I know I gave her my 'Yes,i'm going' last night and without splashing any fresh tap water on my kinda-sober face, i screamed at my young sista to join us that morning. Some of our friends were already up there and took the long kilometers from the hill behind our yard. I've been thinking on how energetic they are doing the long run during this super lazy month! From our very first spot of "the waiting area", we can see their silhouettes on top of the hill and they were watching over the sunrise. Okay..so we missed the best moment of today's jog (=.=) Forget it! we continued our morning journey to the top and OMG i can really feel the super itchiness on my biceps and laps! is it what they call 'calorie burn'?? it was freezing cold out there..i can hardly catch my breath without sweating. Sally and my sista were leaving me behind as i know they don't carry extra weight on their legs(=.=) okayyyyyy...i knew on that time that i really need some service from the nature. A stick! yes a stick to support me against the gravity! i managed to find one and after a few challenging wet and soak red mud, we finally did it! Right after i look at those 'athletes' (plus a weirdo) up there, i knew it was finally over. Thank you Adidas for being my second foot! The three of us were laughing and i can imagine myself with Sally and my sista 'trip-trip' Destiny Child singing "Survivor" song and doing the dance..hahaaa mulau.

A GIVER TO THE RECEIVER

Being involved with temporary a.k.a contract employment for the past two years..seems like i am quite compatible with teaching and instructing. I am fond of management kind of thing but seems like fate drags me to the opposite road of my childhood dreams. List it all..i have tons of teaching experience from pre-school to university level. Well..they say everything happens for a reason. Lets see how the reason gonna look like. As far as i can see it is not that bad being a teacher instructor or a lecturer. It feels like it is such a pure, honest position in whole world as a giver to the young generation. Whenever you look into their eyes, it is the right moment to realize that they might show their laziness and how super uninterested they are with your class-but deep inside those thin layer of cornea, they are hunger of new knowledge.

MCMF batch 1 SABAH

It has been a while since my very last post and that was like months ago..right after my graduation on May this year, I suddenly received a call which claimed to be mypartners' people and promoted me to join their programme which known as My Career, My Future and it is under Mohe collaborating with Scicom Academy. The representative told me that the programme will be held around 6 weeks and most of the time, the course will cover English communication and interview skills as well. I was not interested at all but right after she mentioned allowance and certificate will be provided, I let her ended the conversation with my agreement to join. After few weeks, with the patience of my great dad to send me to the venue which was UMS, it nearly broke my own patience to know that all of those time, we were all had been given wrong information or should be typed as miscommunication in channeling during the first phone call! OO gosh.. Shouldn't they to be blamed or not, I still have to accept another big fact at that time which was to undergo an interview session in order to qualify me to join the programme. Hahahaa..it was so funny and a bit weird at that time because that was my first time been in a situation where there was no feeling of excitement or nervousness! I just got myself into the interview room with three other girls and yes, we were all can answer the interviewer's questions and such a miracle to know that I succeed to get through it. Woahh..that was my very alpha and sure not omega time to pass in an interview session! LoL..now dont look at me like I am a loser for saying that..well.. Hmm okay..now lets move on to the other part of this story..after a day of the class held at UMS under Scicom Academy respected trainer I began to understand that the course is prepared to help graduates to polish their communication skills in order to prepare them facing the real challenges in a real workplace after they graduated from the MCMF and lucky for us, it was the first time being held in Sabah with the selection of only seventy candidates from UMS itself, UiTM, polytechnic and private institutions. The best and could had been worst moment during the early day was when we had to introduce ourselves to unknown people..i mean strangers..some of us,the candidates might be friends but most of all, we are total strangers..hahaha.. But thanks to that, we have a bond now-friends! Talking about the class, trust me the trainers really knew what they were doing and heaven yeah, we were having cool lessons everyday and that was including dancing, acting and singing! Tulibu dibu yeahhh.. Rm15 per day might sounds cheap as for the allowance but the experiences are the most expensive and memorable. Thanks MCMF!

THE SUICIDAL FAIRYTALE

Do you still remember the snow white and the poisonous apple story? My sister Michelle really into fairytale stuff..so..here is how i pictured the fairytale based on my very humble view..haha
There was a beautiful fairy..she used to take care of mother nature..blablablas...
One day..she felt so hungry..and the only food  available was red apple..err..she found it somewhere inside the forest  which also known as 'The dwarf lalaland'..
..so..because of her uncontrollable hunger and starvation, she said "whatever..it's good for my diet blablaaa"
..So the next thing i know..it was a poisonous apple..and greedy is too suicidal...poor fairy..hehee..
p/s: err..sorry sis..just for fun;p anyway..she's the model for this pixturgraphy!

LONELY SNEAKERS

Debrah Rocx walks the old skool way with old skool shoes
Take me wondering through these streets,

Where bright lights and angels meet,

Stone to stone they take me on,
I'm walking to the break of dawn.
Take me wondering through these streets..

She Walks Alone..

Woke up cold one tuesday,
I'm looking tired and feeling quite sick,
I felt like there was something missing in my day to day life,
So I quickly opened the wardrobe,
Pulled out some jeans and a T-Shirt that seemed clean,
Topped it off with a pair of old shoes,
That were ripped around the seams,
And I thought these shoes just don't suit me.

The new chapter of my life..^_^
Hey, I put some new shoes on,
And suddenly everything is right,
I said, hey, I put some new shoes on and everybody's smiling,
It so inviting,
Oh, short on money,
But long on time,
Slowly strolling in the sweet sunshine,
And I'm running late,
And I dont need an excuse,
'cause I'm wearing my brand new shoes.
****
Woke up late one thursday,
And I'm seeing stars as I'm rubbing my eyes,
And I felt like there were two days missing,
As I focused all the time,
And I made my way to the kitchen,
But I had to stop from the shock of what I found,
A room full of all my friends dancing round and round,
And I thought hello new shoes,
Byebye them blues.
